I personally do not have a daughter. However, I have heard from many parents who have a daughter with Autism, or other special needs, there is not alot of materials for specifically for girls with autism or special needs.

I created this free social story, " I Have My Period" to help explain a period, when it happens and how to put on a pad.

This story can be used in conjunction with other aba therapy, or in a heath education class as a adapted resource. It can be used as part of a school education program.

The resource can be laminated for longevity and used in the classroom or at home to help your child learn an essential life skill.

Nice product that is great to have ready on the fly. It shows what a period may look like in your underwear, what a pad looks like, covers that cramps may happen. I've printed out copies to stay at school and sent home for families to review with kids.

This was very useful in helping an autistic preteen understand what was happening to her body. She read this independently and it seems to be good for a number of intellectual levels due to the pictures and concise information. Thank you.
