My son loves this book and reads it over and over again. I often find him reading it when no one is there, this makes me happy as he is trying to understand and remind himself of the various coping strategies. Read the story together, ask questions, use it for speech, comprehension and learning about behaviour management.

The world is full of complex rules, often difficult for our children to understand and navigate, sometimes our children may not be able to express themselves, or understand why a situation is occuring, this is when coping strategies can help the child navigate the world.

A big thanks to Able2Learn for their stories. As learning support staff we are often not given a budget to purchase resources so finding these amazing simple booklets has been fantastic. The students have enjoyed the simplicity and found them easy to understand.

As a specialist teacher working with students with learnng and behavioural difficulties I use this resource frequently. It save me hours of time writing social stories from scratch and I have shared them with teachers and parents.
