Description

Free Social Story When I Have An Erection : This Package Includes : 14 pages

Puberty can be a difficult time for teens and parents. Parents find the time challenging as they have to explain the changes that are taking place,  appropriate social skills and, help the teen cope with changes happening in their body.

As part of my puberty section, I created What Is An Erection? I have created other books on Masturbation and Inappropriate Touching but sometimes some children need specific words and meaning broken down for them. This book also reinforces private vs public space and inappropriate touching. Hope this resources helps.

This free social story can also be used as part of a reading program or behaviour management program.  Use the book to talk, ask questions and answer questions.

This is a great ABA Resource, school education program, social story and free printable worksheet for your students as part of a home living program, parental resources and school program to reinforce important skills for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.

The resource can be laminated for longevity and used in the classroom or at home to help your child learn an essential life skill.

Check out our other great social stories for teachers and students. We have many social stories you can download for your student.

From our family to yours, we encourage learning and hope you enjoy these materials. I want to see all of our children reach their best potential.

Please leave some feedback and share us on social media.

Well written and tells a boy virtually everything he needs to know

Every boy should read something like this, as it can be an embarrassing topic to discuss.

    Excellent Resource

It is so extremely helpful to have a resource for students with ASD or other developmental disabilities who are going through puberty. These topics can be challenging to navigate and the concepts can be difficult to convey. This resource is extremely helpful doing both.

I think this social story is just awesome, without pretensions! I am grateful! This is fantastic! For my son who is entering puberty. I appreciate that the resources are free, for average families like us, this is very helpful!

Thank you so much for the social studies that you shared. This is not an easy topic to discuss with my autism teenage but it is extremely helpful to avoid the embarrassment in the public.

    Needs Improvement

I would like to see language that doesn't shame little boys for something they can't control. You can't say it is not okay to get an erection in public then say it is okay on the next page.
This should say 'it is always okay' and give strategies to deal with it in public.
