Making mistakes in a classroom can be a form of anxiety for some children. I know for my own son years of ABA had almost reinforced the importance of learning without making mistakes. When we would have to ask Niam to erase he would get really upset. This social story paired with positive reinforcement helps a child learn it is okay to make mistakes. A great tool for parents when they are helping their child with homework or for the teacher.
