Free Social Story When People Die: This Package Includes : 13 pages
It can be difficult for some children on the Autism Spectrum to understand the concept of death, why someone is not coming back and, what happens when someone is seriously ill. I created a social story to start the conversation.
We hope this book will help you begin the conversation and understanding of such a sensitive topic.
This is a great free ABA Resource, school education program, social story and free printable worksheet for your students as part of a home living program, parental resources and school program to reinforce important skills for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities.
The resource can be laminated for longevity and used in the classroom or at home to help your child learn an essential life skill.

I have used the Social Story "When People Die" with students classified with an intellectual disability. The story was very helpful in preparing students to attend a funeral
The story was very helpfully!
Extremely good! Really helped the autistic people in my family after a bereavement
Lovely resource, especially in the current time. Thank you for these free resources.
A very nice way of explaining death to younger children or children with autism or learning differences. The only page I would take out is the bit about heaven because I work with a diverse demographic in addition to being very logical and truth oriented (I can't prove that heaven exists so how could I know that's where people go and if they are bad do they go there too?) but other than that I have already used the social story and think it will really help in explaining death
Would recommend this product to other teachers .
Trying to explain to our autistic daughter why and how her sister died is hard. This publication is helping.
I would like to see the topic what do I do with my feelings after a loved one passes away
