Importance of matching pictures to shadows
Matching pictures to shadows is an important skill to learn. It is often taught in preschool but,  overlooked in ABA programming.  Matching pictures to shadows teaches a student  learn to identify a picture by its outline or shadow, rather than colour.  This skill is useful to identify numbers, letters, shapes as the student is learning to recognize a form not a colour.

Tips for using these visual discrimination (matching pictures to shadows) worksheets:
Our visual discrimination sheets are available by category and  different levels. The level of difficulty increases  with more and smaller pictures are placed on the sheet. Our sheets come with visual instructions to help the student who requires visual aids to follow instructions. The program is available in categories to reinforce speech development, categories, and, the ability to use them in ABA programming.

Use Token Boards and Data Sheets from Able2learn Free Curriculum to provide further supports for you student.
