Teaching should result in the acquisition of generalized skills that allows the learner to learn from his/her everyday experiences. There are many parts of an object that are found in the general enviornment of the learner to help facilitate learning naturally. The child can learn parts of a chair, a table, a computer, items the child is familiar with, or even motivated to learn about.  Learning new words and understanding the enviornment around them is important. 
 
I randomly will label, comment or ask Niam part of items found in his enviornment. It is a great way to learn. The cards we have made can be used at the desk , in the classroom, and carried over to toys or items the child could be familiar with.
 
 
All the books come with additional visual aids to help your child be successful.
