The book is part of a series of programs to bridge the gap between IBI programs and the Standardized Educational System. The book can be used at home, in the educational system and part o a specialized program. It is not limited to children with special needs but it is designed and written in such a way to include this population.

The Colouring By Shapes Levels 1 and 2 was designed to teach children how to draw usingshapes in a fun and engaging way. The book is more than just a instructional book to teach colouring. It is cross curricular. The book works on additional academic skills such as math, speech development, comprehension, shapes, colours, pencil control, and reading skills.

We have provided visual pictures for the child every step of the way. At times, drawing can seem difficult, the step by step instructions will aid in success. Every lesson uses easy to draw shapes. We encourage children to work on various skills at the same time, and feel these programs are a great way to teach classroom skills and generalize targets learned in IBI programming.
