As my child Niam Jain Autism Artist is aging, I am beginning to realize the most important math topics are functional math. Learning the concept of money, recognizing money, their value and how to use money is extremely important. Many parents ask when should we start teaching money. In my opinion, teaching about money can start from the early years. ABA programming focuses on key attributes such as visual discrimination, matching and speech. The adapted money book can be used as part of a math program and, for ABA programming in the areas of visual discrimination, matching, math and speech.
The student or child does not need to know how to print to use this book. This is great for children to keep up the learning and be in an inclusive classroom when they are not ready to print yet.
You can download the free matching of coins books and identical and non-identical math money currency book in Canadian and USA versions. Download both and mix them up to make the task more difficult.
