At Able2learn Inc. we feel strongly about protecting your privacy.  We are committed to providing you with a safe and secure environment. If you feel we have not addressed a specific topic or you require more information about a topic  please do not hesitate to contact us.  Our end goal is to provide the user a place where they can communicate with others, and to full fill our mission. Our mission to provide free education with a  special focus on Autism and other learning disabilities for anyone, anywhere.

 
The intent of our Privacy Notice is to describe what information we gather from our members and others who visit and use the Website www.able2learn.com, how we use that information, and what we do to protect it. By visiting or using our Website, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Able2Learn Inc. collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.able2learn.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Able2Learn Inc.

What Information We Collect

The types of information we collect fall under two general categories: personally identifiable information and non- personally identifiable information. Personally  Identifiable information consists of information which can be used to specifically identify you as an individual, whereas  Non-Personally identifiable consists of aggregate information or any information that doesn’t not reveal your identity. The following sections describe you’re your Personal Identifiable Data  and Non Personal Identifiable Data that are collected by us, and how we use such information.
 
Personal Data
 
We may collect personal identifiable data from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, subscribe to the newsletter, fill out a form, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. We may track how many times you view a video or download a PDF.  Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information. Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously. We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification.  At any time you visit any of our websites, our servers automatically gather information from your browser ( such as your IP addresses, browser  type, Internet service provider “ISP”, referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks) to analyze trends, administer the site, prevent fraud, track visitor movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information. We may use third party to gather information like google analytics. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities. The goal is to better tailor the experience for you.
 
Information Obtained From Other Users
 
We may make available certain features on the Website that allow other Users to provide us information. This information may include Personal Information. For example, a parent may give us information about their child, and provide us with certain information regarding,  age, levels of difficulties, skills etc.
 
We use “cookies” to keep track of some information while you are visiting our website or using any of our services.  Cookies are very small files placed on your computer, they allow us to count the number of visitors to our website and distinguish repeat visitors from new visitors. They allow us to save user preferences and track user trends. Able2learn Inc. may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.
 
We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.
 
We may use various technologies  that automatically record certain technical information from your browser or device, including standard log files, web beacons or pixel tags.  This technical information may include  your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring or exit pages, click stream data, operating system, and the dates and times that you visit the Website. Web Beacons ( also know as “clear gifs” and “pixel tags) are small transparent graphic images that are often used in conjunction with cookies in order to further personalize our website for users and to collect information from our visitors. We may also use web beacons in email communications to understand the behavior of customers.  We may record information about your location or region.
 
Information from Integrated Services like Facebook or Google.
 
If you decide to register through or otherwise grant access to a third-party social networking or integrated service, “Integrated Service”, such as Facebook Connect or Google, Able2learn Inc. may also collect Personal Identification Information that is already associated with your Integrated Service account. You may also have the option of sharing additional information with Able2learn Inc. If you choose to provide such information, during registration or otherwise, you are giving Able2learn Inc. the permission to use, share and store it consistent with this Privacy Notice.
 
Able2learn Inc. uses a variety of third party service providers, such as You Tube, Google analytics, mail chimp and others. We may allow third-party to place their own cookies , web beacons or similar technologies to collect information through this Website. This information is collected automatically by these third parties and Able2learn Inc. does not participated in these data transmissions.

How we use collected information
Able2Learn Inc. may collect and use Users personal information for the following purposes:

– To improve customer service
Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.

– To personalize user experience
We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.

– To improve our Site
We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.

– To process payments
We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order.  In certain situations, we may obtain information , including Personal Information, from third parties or sources other than the website. Some examples are, but not limited to buying on our shop,  donating via paypal or a crowd sharing. We could obtain your address and/or name to send a thank you note, a postcard  a gift or post a thank you In our blog thank you section.

We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.

– To run a promotion, contest, survey or other Site feature
To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.

– To send periodic emails
We may use the email address to send User information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, questions, and/or other requests. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email.

We may use a variety of third – party service providers, such as Youtube to host our videos or Google Analytics to understand our Website usage and Amazon Integration to sell products.  We may allow third- party service providers to place and read their own cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect information through the Website. This information is collected directly and automatically by third parties, and Able2learn Inc. does not participate in these data transmissions.
 
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.
 
Sharing your personal information
We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.

Advertising
Ads appearing on our site may be delivered to Users by advertising partners, who may set cookies. These cookies allow the ad server to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement to compile non personal identification information about you or others who use your computer. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. This privacy policy does not cover the use of cookies by any advertisers.

 
Google Ad sense
Some of the ads may be served by Google. Google’s use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to Users based on their visit to our Site and other sites on the Internet. DART uses “non personally identifiable information” and does NOT track personal information about you, such as your name, email address, physical address, etc. You may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy at http://www.google.com/privacy_ads.html

Able2learn Inc. uses certain physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to designed to preserve the integrity and security of your Personal Identifiable Information. However, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any or all of the information you transmit to Able2learn Inc., ( including credit card information) and you do so at your own risk. Once information is transferred to us, Able2learn Inc. makes commercially reasonable efforts to ensure the security of  our systems. Please note this is not a guarantee that such information, including credit card information, will not be accessed, disclosed, altered, stolen, destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical ,or managerial safeguards.  Thus we accept no liability for any breach or unintentional disclosure.

The Website may be linked to websites operated by other entities and individuals. Some of these websites include but is not limited to  twitter, facebook, instagram. This Privacy Policy does not apply to, and we cannot always control the activities of, such third-party websites. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third party websites. Such sites may also place their own cookies on their site or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you. We are not responsible for the privacy policies or practices or the content of any other websites that may provide access to, or be linked to or from , this site, including that of any social networking sites, third party advertisers, blogs, articles, third party websites, whose offerings or links require you to navigate away from our site.
 
Sharing Data
We may share anonymous or aggregate data to improve our services and to learn more about our users. Able2learn Inc. may work with business partners to improve services or offerings.  We may disclose automatically collected and other aggregate non-Personal Information to authorized business partners to conduct research online  education or assist in understanding the usage, viewing, and demographic patterns for certain programs, content, services, promotions, and /or functionality on the website.

Online Survey Data: We may  conduct voluntary member surveys. Participating in surveys is voluntary and helps us provide important information.

Restrictions on Children:  A child must be over the age of 13 to log on to Able2learn Inc. and they will be able to use all the features of the website including the forum. We are parents to monitor their children. Able2learn Inc. reserves the right at any time to restrict an individual from the Website.

International Visitors who use our site should be aware our site is operated and managed on servers located in Canada and the United States. If you choose to use our website from any other country or any region in the world,  you are consenting to the transfer of data, your Personal Identifiable Information outside of those regions to Canada/United States, and by providing your Personal Identifiable Information you are consenting to the transfer.

Changes to this privacy policy
Able2Learn Inc. has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect.
